Don't Fall into the Lifetime Cover Trap!

Are you getting FULL Lifetime Cover?

Don’t be fooled into thinking that all lifetime covers offered by some other per insurers are the same as Animal Friends’ Full Lifetime Cover.

For instance, if you were to take out our Gold Super policy, that would give you £4,000 PER CONDITION, PER YEAR. So, if your pet were to get 3 conditions in effect you could claim up to £12,000 every year for those three conditions collectively*. There is no limit on how many conditions you can claim for.

And if your pet were to get an ongoing condition that needed treatment throughout its life that would be covered too. For instance, if you had a puppy that lived until he was 14 years old and he developed a heart condition as a puppy then if you had taken out our Gold Standard policy, you could claim up to £28,000 for that heart condition*. Our Gold Super Policy could have given you £56,000 of cover !*

However, with many other pet insurers who offer "lifetime cover" it is a different story. Sainsburys only give you £6,500 per condition throughout your pet's life for example, others give you less. So, if you had that cover for the puppy in our example above you would only have got up to £6,500 to cover that ongoing condition.

Other providers, such as Marks and Spencer, only offer you £7,000 in total per year for ALL conditions!
