We would very much like to share as much information
relating keeping a dog as possible on this website.
We love pets and if we are able to help just one dog owner
to understand his best friend a little better then we have
achieved our goal with this website. Here are some interesting
websites that are involved in many different aspects of pet ownership:-

Canine Crusaders - Cornwall
Canine Crusaders was founded in February 2002 to try to
improve dog welfare in Cornwall, and help reduce the number
of dogs going needlessly into rescue. Every day we are asked to
help between one and eight dogs. We have no kennels, so we
rehome either by keeping the dogs in their existing homes or, if that isn't possible, using
suitable foster homes as temporary holding points. All homes are fully checked, and full
support is given.

Bath Cats and Dogs Home - Bath
We are one of the largest animal re-homing centres in the UK caring for over 350
animals (dogs, cats and small animals) at any one time at a cost of over £3,000 a day. We
pride ourselves on our strict non-destruction policy and aim to find every single animal a loving home, no matter how long this may take.

Rochdale Dog Rescue
Rochdale Dog Rescue works every week to find responsible rescue places for dogs in a Northern Pound in the UK that are due to be put to sleep if not claimed after 7 days.
The pound that we work with are one of the few pounds that are willing to work closely with us as a rescue. They too work hard to save these dogs from being put to sleep by providing Rochdale Dog Rescue with photographs, information about the dogs and constant updates.

Labrador Rescue has been set up to try and help all Labradors who have had the misfortune to become destitute, unwanted and homeless through no fault of their own.

DogLost.co.uk is an internet based Dog Registration scheme which not only actively helps you find your dog, but also informs you of other missing dogs in your area as they are reported missing.

Man's Best Friend Training Association - Lincoln
Many, many more dogs from rescue homes, who do a marvellous job in caring for and re-homing these dogs, unfortunately find themselves returned because the new owner is unable to cope and is unable or unwilling to seek professional help to remedy their problems. Hence the founding of Man's Best Friend Rescue and Training Association.

Battersea Dogs Home is the largest and most famous dogs' home in the UK. Our aims are to Rescue, Reunite, Rehabilitate and Rehome the lost and abandoned dogs and cats that come into our care.

Deaf Dog Education Action Fund
The mission of the Deaf Dog Education Action Fund is to provide education and funding for the purpose of improving and/or saving the lives of deaf dogs. We are a non-profit organization founded to speak on behalf of and assist in the betterment of life for deaf dogs everywhere.
